This course consists of three parts:

Part 1 – Basic Pistol:

• Weapon Safety Rules
• Pistol components for semi-automatics and revolvers
• Ammunition types and their properties
• Pistol shooting fundamentals

Part 2 – Range Qualification:

• Applying the concepts of Part 1 on the range under the supervision and guidance of the instructor at distances of 10, 15, and 20ft

Part 3 – Concealed Weapons for the state of Florida:

• Legal/illegal places to carry
• Reasonable Persons Standard
• Deadly Force vs Force
• Forcible Felonies
• Protection of Property
• The Castle Doctrine
• “Stand Your Ground” rule
• After the “Bang”
