Basic Practical Course

FFA’s Basic Practical Courses teach students all the skills they need to be a well rounded shooter. These courses are generally shorter (about 2 hours) but are designed to be affordable and relatively quick so shooters can cover a variety of skills over time. The goal is, after a period of time, the shooter will have mastered all the necessary skills to be the best shooter they can be.

Learning Points Covered:

  • Moving and shooting
  • Reload techniques
  • Sight alignment
  • Rhythm of shots
  • Trigger Pull and Trigger Control
  • Cover and Scan
  • Concealment and Cover
  • Much more!

A mandatory prerequisite for students to attend Basic and/or Advanced Practical Courses is FFA’s Tactical Holster Draw Course.

Course Locations

  • FFA New Port Richey ONLY

NOTE: To maintain the optimum student to instructor ratio, we require all students and event participants to pre-register. Registration closes 24-hours prior to each course or event. We cannot permit “walk-in’s” to our courses or events. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
