FREE Youth Gun Safety Course

Florida Firearms Academy’s FREE Youth Gun Safety Course is limited to male and female youths ages 5 to 11. Seating is limited to 10 students per class, so REGISTER EARLY!

Firearms can be a great hobby and tool to have, but using them safely is of the utmost importance – especially when it comes to our youth. FFA’s FREE Youth Gun Safety Course is an introduction to safe firearms handling that outlines what to do when a child finds a firearm or their friend is playing with one, how to safety resolve situations involving firearms, and finally how to operate and safely shoot a 22 caliber rifle. While this class does involve shooting, it is more focused on safety and situational awareness with firearms than it is a shooting course.

Course Learning Points:

• Gun Safety
• What to do if there is a gun around
• What to do with a gun at a friends house
• Basic shooting techniques

NOTE: To maintain the optimum student to instructor ratio, we require all students and event participants to pre-register. Registration closes 24-hours prior to each course or event. We cannot permit “walk-in’s” to our courses or events. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
