OVERVIEW:
This course is designed specifically for the first-time or inexperienced pistol shooter who wants to learn in a safe, comfortable, professional environment.
Students will begin in the classroom with a certified firearms instructor, where they will learn firearm safety, pistol fundamentals, proper handling, and the basic principles of holding, loading, aiming, and shooting a pistol correctly, safely, and accurately.
After completing the classroom portion, students will proceed to the shooting range with their instructor for closely supervised hands-on and live-fire training.
COURSE GOAL:
By the completion of the course, the student should have a better understanding of:
FIREARM SAFETY
SAFE PISTOL HANDLING
PROPER SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS
RANGE SAFETY
CONFIDENCE AROUND A FIREARM
All the foundational principles necessary to shoot a pistol.
