Students will learn the basic principles of a scene assessment, emergency casualty care, and implement immediate care and life saving techniques to properly treats the “Big 3” (Hemorrhage, Pneumothorax, Airway Obstruction) associated with penetrating trauma wounds. Students will also be certified in CPR and receive a certification from the American Heart Association that is valid for 2 years. Course tuition includes a basic IFAK to treat wounds associated with GSW’s.
NOTE: To maintain the optimum student to instructor ratio, we require all students and event participants to pre-register. Registration closes 24-hours prior to each course or event. We cannot permit “walk-in’s” to our courses or events. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
